About This Item
Jivomet is an oral antihyperglycemic drug  contains sitagliptin which belongs to a group of medicines called Dipeptidyl Peptidase-4 (DPP-4) Inhibitors and Metformin which belongs to a group of medicines called Biguanide . They work together to control blood sugar levels  in adult patients with the form of diabetes called “Type 2 diabetes (non-insulin dependent diabetes)”. It is used when diabetes cannot be controlled by diet and exercise alone.

Jivomet 50/500
Each film coated tablet contains Sitagliptin phosphate mono hydrate 50mg and metformin HCL 500mg . Each carton contains 6 blister packs of 10 Pink-colored, Oval shaped, film coated, Biconvex tablets, with ‘Awa’  debossed in one side and break line on other side.

Each film coated tablet contains Sitagliptin phosphate mono hydrate 50mg and metformin HCL 1000mg . Each carton contains 6 blister packs of 10 Brown-colored, Oval shaped, film coated, Biconvex tablets, with plain on both side.
