Losartan Awa belongs to a group of drugs called angiotensin-II receptor antagonists. It is used to treat
hypertension, to protect the kidney in hypertensive type 2 diabetic patients and for chronic heart failure (when ACE inhibitors is not suitable).

Each film-coated tablet contains Losartan Potassium BP 100 mg. Each carton contains 3 blister packs of 10 white, oval, film-coated tablets each with ‘Awa’ (Awamedica monogram) on one side and a break line on the other side.
