AwaTrombin is an antiplatelet drug which prevents blood clots particularly in atherosclerosis and angina. It also reduces the risk of heart attacks (myocardial infarction) and strokes (cerebral transient ischaemic attacks) in
patients with a previous history of these conditions, when taken regularly.

Each enteric-coated tablet contains Acetylsalicylic acid BP 100 mg. Each carton contains 3 blister packs of 10 or 2 blister packs of 15 round shape, white, biconvex, enteric-coated tablets each with a break line on one side and ‘Awa’ (Awamedica monogram) on the other side.
