PranolAwa belongs to a group of medicines called beta-blockers, It is used to:
• treat high blood pressure, an enlarged heart muscle or tremors,
• treat angina pectoris or high blood pressure caused by a tumor near a kidney,
• help prevent additional heart attacks,
• control irregular or fast heart beats,
• control fast heart rate and other symptoms caused by an overactive thyroid gland,
• to reduce migraine attacks,
• calm people who are anxious or worried,
• prevent stomach bleeding in patients with high blood pressure in their liver or swollen blood vessels in their gullet.

Ingredients

PranolAwa 10

Each  film-coated tablet contains Propranolol HCl BP 10 mg. Each carton contains 3 blisters of 10 round or 2 blister packs of 15, pink, biconvex tablets with a break line on one side and ‘Awa’ (Awamedica monogram) on the other side.

PranolAwa 40

Each film-coated tablet contains Propranolol HCl BP 40 mg. Each carton contains 3 blisters of 10 round or 2 blister packs of 15, pink, biconvex tablets with a break line on one side and ‘Awa’ (Awamedica monogram) on the other side.
